We, here at the Tri-Lakes Humane Society, are currently helping the Humane Society of Missouri, rescue the cats in the White Eagle Woods area of Reeds Spring.  There was a note put in the mailboxes of residents that threatened to poison cats by setting out bowls of antifreeze in that subdivision.  At present, we have several cats and kittens we have rescued from the area, at our shelter.  We have tested, vaccinated, checked for parasites, and all will soon be spayed/neutered and made available for adoption.  We will continue our ongoing efforts to help these cats, until we feel we have taken all steps necessary.  We appreciate your continued support through volunteering and donating to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society.  The help is especially needed with the care and treatment of these rescued cats.

Welcome to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society!

OCTOBER Feature Cat:  LOVEY
LOVEY is one of our several Yellow Tabby cats and isn't she pretty.  When she first came to the shelter she was very shy, but now she is very friendly and loves to be petted.  She's not much on being picked up, but that's okay.  Some cats go through their whole life not wanting to be picked up, but the minute you sit down, they will be on your lap.  Lovey is 2 years old and spayed.  She has very nice markings in her yellow Tabby coat.  She's ready to go home with you today, and who knows, in just a short time, she might be ready for you to pick her up?

OCTOBER Feature Dog:  LADY BUG
LADY BUG is just the sweetest and smartest dog.  Yes, we do mean smart.  She knows several commands, like SIT and STAY and no telling what else.  She is great on a leash, loves to take walks and minds perfectly.  Lady Bug loves people, but she would be best as an "only dog child".  She would rather have all your attention and affection for herself:  Lady Bug never meets a stranger and she's ready to go home with you today.   She is 2 years old, spayed and yes, housebroken.  You couldn't ask for a bettery dog than Lady Bug and don't you love that beautiful brindle coat and those floppy ears!

We have 3 'FREE' Dogs and 1 'FREE' Cats!
