We hope you all voted in the KOMC/KRZK
(Ozark Mountain Media) DOG DAYS OF SUMMER contest!
Well, the contest is over now, but since over 1,000 votes were received, Ozark Mountain Media will sponsor 3 adoptions for the Tri-Lakes Humane Society
!!!
Beginning Tuesday, August 21 we will pick 3 days that week (in fact, those 3 days have already been picked) as a surprise to 3 lucky adopters.  2 of the days, the first dog adopter of the day will receive a "free" adoption and 1 day, the first cat adopter of the day will receive a "free" adoption.  These adoptions are being sponsored by KOMC/KRZK (Ozark Mountain Media)!

'PETS OF THE MONTH'

AUGUST Cat of the Month is MOONSHINE!
MOONSHINE is also being featured in our August Monthly Special - check out that page.  She is 6 years old and spayed, a small little black cat.  She's very sweet, but not needy, just nice.  She loves to be petted, but she sees no need to have all of your attention all of the time.  She and a sister (adopted) came to the shelter because their person became unable to care for them.  Moonshine is truly a no-trouble-at-all cat that would love to meet you and go home with you today.  You'll hardly even know she's in the house :)

AUGUST DogS of the Month PARSON and POPE!

PARSON is the solid black and POPE is the black with white, both the sweetest young men, 8 months old and neutered, Lab/Hound mix.  You've probably read the story about these boys' family being abandoned when their person moved away, and the neighborly minister saved them and brought them to the shelter.  Parson is very smart, very good on a leash, very well-mannered and we think will be easily trained.  Pope is just a sweetheart, very handsome, super smart, as well, loves to play and loves people, also good on a leash and has impeccable manners.  They are the only family members still available and we're sure once you meet them, you will want to take them home.  (Not necessarily together:) )  They both have wonderful personalities, never meet a stranger and love everybody.  Come meet these boys and see which one will best fit in with your family!
