How to Surrender an Animal

At Tri-Lakes, we understand that sometimes life changes, and rehoming a pet is necessary. To help cover the costs of vetting, spaying/neutering, required vaccinations, and other care, we ask for a minimum $25 donation for all animal intakes. Please note that we operate on a waitlist system, which can sometimes be long. To get on the waitlist, simply call our office, and we will assist you as soon as we can.

​Important Notice About Dog Intake last updated 2/22/26

We are currently renovating our large dog housing area. During this time, our capacity for bigger dogs is significantly reduced, and intake for large breeds will be slower than usual.

We are still working hard to serve our community and the animals in our care, but space limitations mean we are unable to accommodate as many large dogs as we normally would. We will share updates here and on our Facebook page as the renovation progresses.
